I´m a 48 year old graphic designer from Dortmund in Germany!
I did an apprenticeship as graphic designer and had jobs for different catalogues etc. I decided some time ago to start my own stuff doing graphics for bands and here we are. Right now I´m doing artworks for different bands from all over the world!
I´m working with Adobe Photoshop since almost 2 decades and creating some different kind of artworks... My style: Dirty/Gory/Creepy... All of my graphics have professional printing quality and will be used by several Record Labels like Out of Line, Alfa-Matrix, ProNoize, Echozone, Advoxya and even Infacted-Recordings.
I just started some other kind of art genre a few month ago doing Tattoo designs!
Now I´m pretty busy in the Tattoo Business too by doing graphics for several Companies, Machine builders, Suppliers, Artists etc.
Some of my designs got be published in different artbooks by out of step books.

Hinter dem Pseudonym Pixelbreed verbirgt sich der Dortmunder Künstler Alexander Fröbel, der seit vielen Jahren als Grafiker mit seiner “Digital Art” für Bands, Magazine und Veranstalter in der Szene tätig ist. Obwohl er momentan ausgebucht ist, nahm sich Alex die Zeit für das Interview mit Nihil.

Hallo und vielen Dank erstmal für die Anfrage und Euer Interesse!
Fangen wir mal grundsolide an: Wie kamst du zu deinem Künstlernamen Pixelbreed?
Naja, am Anfang eines jeden Projektes steht erstmal sich einen passenden Namen zu überlegen.
Da ich ja nunmal mit Pixeln arbeite und Grundsätzlich viel Horror-related stuff mache, hat sich das dann so angeboten!
Wann in etwa hast du angefangen, deine kreativen Fähigkeiten für Klienten anzubieten und wie hat sich das ganze überhaupt ergeben?
OH! Also mit Photoshop arbeite ich jetzt seit ´94 (V3.0). Das sind knapp 20 Jahre (VERDAMMT!)
Angefangen hat das mit der Anfrage eines Freundes, der für sein musikalisches Projekt einen Grafiker suchte.
Irgendwann kam er dann auf mich zu, somit ergab sich dann auch die Idee für Pixelbreed.
